Images of Hertfordshire

Allison says her landscapes are 'too picky' no Allison, this is 'picky'!..........

These three pieces were handstitched on calico hand painted with watercolour dyes. They represent scenes in the Hertfordshire countryside, near where I used to live.

All six inches diameter.

I stitched these a few years ago while I was working away from home, they gave me something to do in the evenings!

Now THIS is what it is all about. I am in awe!
Your perspective, esp. in the middle piece, is dynamic, and your colors, as always, are spot on. The stitch proficiency? Perfect for what it is supposed to be conveying. Mega Bravo!
I can see now how the piece in your previous post would be a stretch for you, too....

Those are so beautiful! The textures and details are incredible but what I really love is how welcoming the scenes are.

Beautiful.
Love how the stitching follows the curve of the path and everything is in perspective.
