Solid..........................
Similar to the last post, but using 'heat and bond' vinyl instead of soluble stabiliser for the sandwich, with a filling of thread snippets and teased out wool tops (roving). The vinyl over the wool tops gives an almost pearly effect. This one is meant to be looked into, so the metallic thread is on the inside, on the turned back corners.

I love the little containers, Kay. The difference between the between solid and soluble is interesting. I like very dense, thick and chunky stuff, but the delicate airy nature of that soluble container is so beautiful. Because of all the little "stuff" it still has a thickness to it, but not a heaviness.
I enjoyed seeing your containers, reminds me of when I took a ceramics class and was interested in making vessels. I'd like to try it again, have you seen the work of Kay Kahn?
