Through a hedge backwards

This was an exercise using 'distressed' fabric techniques, so the edges were fringed or left raw and threads were withdrawn. The fabrics used are mostly linens or tweeds, with some hand stitched embellishment.

I wish I could work this freely! All my landscapes are too picky...this would be such a fun exercise. What are the dimensions?

Hi Allison, I found it difficult at first - I have a natural inclination to finish edges and tidy up threads, but it did help me to 'loosen up'. Its quite small, about 8 inches in diameter.
